College Grants

Grants are Hard to Get but Worth Trying

Grants are a great way to help pay for college and all students should attempt to try to attain some grant assistance. Grants are funds giving out by Grant Makers. A Grant Maker is usually a government, a business or a non profit entity. Education Grants are not a loan and do not have to be paid back. Grants do not require credit checks, security deposits, collateral, or even a co-signers. This is why Grants are so desirable. Since most students don't know about Education Grants, or think they are so hard to get, most students never even apply for a Grant. A Grant is not a loan but instead funds that are set aside to accomplish what the Grant Makers sets out to do. The government is the largest Grant Maker with Students Grants totaling billions of dollars, but public and private trusts and foundations are also a very big part of today's Education Grants. Public and private trusts and foundations disperse in excess of $40 billion every year to prospective students like you.
